Biography
Lucy Osborn is a freelance guitarist based near Brighton, UK. She has played at venues all over the UK, including London, Brighton, Bristol and Newcastle, in prestigious venues such as Komedia (Brighton), Concorde 2 (Brighton) and The Troubador (London). She has completed live and studio sessions for many artists, including Rachel Mosleh, Bernice Macdonald and Izzy Smith on a regular basis, and on an occaisonal basis for many other artists. Lucy has played on BBC radio, Radio Reverb and in two music videos as a session musician. She has also completed recording sessions at many studios including Church Road (Brighton) and Skyline (London).
Lucy has a fully honed technique on both acoustic and electric guitar, and can adapt easily and quickly to new band and musical scenarios. This has resulted in her playing in funk, rock, pop, acoustic, folk styles in both original and functions projects.
As a guitar tutor Lucy also has a great deal of experience: she currently teaches at the Sussex Academy of Music, in several primary and secondary schools and also teaches privately.
